ARE YOU COMMITTED TO STRENGTHENING FRENCH SECOND LANGUAGE OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH IN NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR?

There is no better way than joining our dedicated team of volunteers on the Board of Directors.

CANADIAN PARENTS FOR FRENCH – NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR IS ANNOUNCING A CALL FOR NOMINATIONS TO ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND WE WANT YOU TO JOIN IN ON THE ACTION!

Volunteering with the Board is a great way to meet new people, get experience in non-profit organizations, and have access to professional development. The organization is looking for individuals with a genuine interest in furthering bilingualism, an awareness of issues related to French language learning, who are willing to promote linguistic duality and are capable of networking with our partners and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has prior community-based volunteer experience

and knowledge of strategic thinking; governance; advocacy; change management; volunteer engagement.

 

Candidates must be Canadian Parents for French – Newfoundland and Labrador members.  Board positions are voluntary and include some travel, paid by Canadian Parents for French – Newfoundland and Labrador.  We need you for 4 meetings per year, either in person or through teleconference.

Any current member  can nominate themselves or another person as a candidate for the Board of Directors.
